The author, jadeddiva writes a fantastic Barbara Gordon: quick witted, dry sense of humor, and earnest as hell. She also shapes this story to fit within the Dark Knight storyworld but maintains an original take on the material. I love the dynamic she builds between Barbara and Bruce Wayne and the tension she builds between Barbara and Batman. The author also captures the sheer horror of a city subjected to the madness of the Joker.

The story is complete and is 12 chapters long - a relatively quick read. I highly rec.
