Bruce Wayne’s Love Interests… Silver St. Cloud
I’ve been reading the first appearances of Silver St. Cloud as they’ve been collected in the trade Batman: Apparitions.
I highly rec this book if you’re in the mood for some great old school Batman storytelling. It’s late 70s so the term “old school” is relative, but the art has got this solid, straight forward quality to it that I equate with older stories. Also, it’s from a time when Batman stories were more fun! and much less likely to be characterized as darkened, twisted, and angst-ridden.
So Jason keeps trying to tell Bruce about the case with no success.
Then Bullock crashes the dinner party.
Jason has the most expressive face, each of these panels is precious.
I totally read this as Bruce cock-blocking Jason’s game on this girl

Dick informs us that the action he got last night wasn’t as Robin.
I found some ancient DC colouring book, and these were the first pages. Seems there is a panel of Dick and Bruce sharing a bed every forty or so years (there was one in Golden Age too), so I’m guessing we can expect one in the near future.

Bruce Wayne’s Love Interests… Charlotte Rivers
Detective Comics #1-7
SPOILERS. A very short lived romance. Before becoming the damsel in distress, Charlotte actually seemed like she could be an interesting character. She had been going all Lois Lane-like undercover, but instead of being for investigative journalism (as she is a reporter), it turns out she was trying to find out what her evil twin sister was up to. And then after confronting said sister and being very seriously wounded, she’s rescued by Batman. By packing her in ice, the hope was that they’d induce hypothermia and she’d survive, but her fate is left up in the air.
So maybe not in a fridge, but definitely on ice.
What if Damian grew up with Bruce?
